PhD student

I am a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins and a Vivien Thomas Scholars Initiative (VTSI) Scholar. I completed my M.S. in Bioinformatics and B.S. in Chemistry at Morgan State University, where I worked on computational structural biology and molecular modeling. I am interested in using multiomics, machine learning, and statistical approaches to characterize brain tumor heterogeneity and the tumor microenvironment, with the goal of advancing translational precision diagnostics and more targeted treatment. Outside of research, I enjoy mentoring, reading, and long walks. Above all, I’m a follower of Jesus — that’s the center of how I strive to live.
